Welcome to our unique licensed coffee bar.

As a coffee bar we serve organic single origin fairtrade coffee, hot chocolate, tea, and homebaking.

As a licensed bar we serve Scottish craft made alcohol. Of course that includes whisky, but Scotland has produced amazing vodka, rum, port, and gin, and we serve them all!

We have teamed up with our friends at Dhu brew to serve craft beer, canned, bottled, or draught.

Our charcoal grill trailer can be used to serve breakfast rolls, extraordinary sausages and burgers as well as a full bbq menu.

Our Story

A Father & Son Story

Having been in the mobile coffee business since 2006 we've had all sorts of vans, trailers and kiosks to trade from. Our favourite is our mini airstream trailer. We (James & Rhona) had worked on our own at events for years but now that Ewan (our son) was working with us, the idea of a Land Rover bar was being discussed.

First job, buy a Land Rover.

The short version of that story is James & Ewan came across a company in the South of England who were closing down their business and wanted to sell their Land Rover 110, they had stripped it down, repainted it and replaced many many parts, so we became the very fortunate owners of 2005 Land Rover Td5. After much mechanical work it was a good to go. Our friend Rob from Classic & Custom Works built and fitted the hatch, then back home where we fitted out the serving area and before we knew it we had (in our opinion) an awesome Land Rover as our latest food truck.

We knew a lot about the world of coffee but we decided to join the licensed bar world. All the bars we had seen operating were offering alcohol straight out of the cash and carry, we thought the gap in the market was premium quality Scottish made booze. We made friends with WoodWinters in Bridge of Allan who educated us in all things whisky, vodka, rum, gin. It was a good night!!

And then beer... we really wanted to serve draught beer that's where our friend Alan comes in. He had started making and selling beer long before we had even thought about a mobile bar, so he is our go-to beer man. DHU beer is brewed in the Scottish borders, we serve their beer by the can, bottle or draught...and we love it!
